A care home that is homely

Front Of Chestnut Care

When it is time for a loved one to move into a care home, many people naturally search for a place that looks like a home, imitating the cosy environment where they used to live. Here at Chestnut Residential Care Home, we aim to provide exactly this type of atmosphere, which is why we are a small care home. It is like moving from home to home but with a team of dedicated staff to look after your loved one.

The inevitable comment from every visitor at Chestnut Residential Care Home is ‘how homely it is.’ And we like to keep it that way – no bad odours throughout the whole building, clean and fresh rooms, an environment that does not look institutional and in short – a place to call home.

Chestnut Residential Care Home has been inspected by the Care Quality Commission, Gloucestershire County Council and Gloucester City Council and the reports do justice to the good quality of care and environment being provided. However, our daily ‘inspectors’ are the residents and their relatives who witness for themselves the atmosphere and service in the care home.

From the outside, Chestnut Residential Care Home does not look like a large property as it is meant to be like an ordinary house.  But the inside is very spacious, airy and well presented. If you are looking for a good care home for your loved one, please do not hesitate to pay us a visit. We are confident that you’ll be the next person to say ‘how homely it is.’
